On an invitation by the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, 
23 members of Tamil Diaspora the permanent residents in UK, Germany, Canada, Australia and South Africa who arrived in Sri Lanka few days back visited Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi on 20 January 2013. The guests enjoyed the traditional & cultural reception. The Commander Security Forces extended his gratitude for opting to visit Kilinochchi and went on to explain the progress of the initiatives by the Government of Sri Lanka in development, construction of infrastructure facilities, provision of better employment opportunities, assistance for minor industry, Improvement of living standards, reconciliation and reintegration of affected communities as a result of 3 decades long conflict and military involvement in a supportive perspective. He further extended an open invitation for all those present to come forward as the dire need of the hour and assist people in Kilinochchi. The gathering expressed their utmost contentment for the rare opportunity granted while exchanging their views & ideas freely. The gathering dispersed after dinner with a heavy heart having determined to launch every available opportunity and materialize every possible option to assist the people of Kilinochchi.
